30 May

President Obama, forever in motion and on the move, has had a superlative past few weeks.  We’re living through a delightful time of progress.

1. The economy continues to rebound, as President Obama’s Keynesian choices during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, prove prescient

+

2. President Obama and the First Lady traveled overseas to be treated to an enthusiastic welcome by POTUS’ Irish relations, and afforded the unprecedented invitation to address the British Parliament

+

3. An increasingly undeniable story is emerging of a Presidency which is amongst the greatest in this country’s history

Please enjoy this week’s reader’s guide of fantastic blog posts.

      Hi sheri!

Thanks so much for visiting; I hope that you’re enjoying the holiday!

      • sherijr May 30, 2011 at 2:11 pm #

Nope, not at all, lol… cold and rainy here, haven’t seen the sun in weeks and haven’t even come close to 60 degrees for sometime now.. cannot wait to leave the land of ND! Otherwise, all is quite well. I hope you’re having a very lovely holiday ~

@the weather: that sucks! Although once you move to the east coast, the swamp-like summers of part of the mid-Atlantic may have you wishing for North Dakota. 🙂 But I’m just relaxing today, looking forward to the weeks ahead a great deal.

Well enjoy the day! Actually I was stationed in MD many years ago, so somewhat familiar with the humidity there, but also lived in Florida for 7 years before moving here. I like the heat and humidity- although FL gets a bit intense- exact opposite of ND, lol. California is my REAL home and the weather there imo is unbeatable.. but MD will be a definite up from here. Anyhoo.. have facebooked your site and will continue to do so each week – with pleasure 🙂

GN, I am so glad you are up and going again. I know what you mean by outside things messing up what we really want to be doing. I appreciate what you are doing so much. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hey there my lady. Wonderful as usual. Just a caution though, and please don’t take this in any harsh way.
An older and wiser head once told me, when I was partaking of a venture, that ‘if you start up something, keep it going, no matter what, even if a mini version has to be put out, as the mixed message of unsure will make people unsure if it is up and running, and you will lose your audience’. So,do your weekly thing and ask others for help if needed, just to keep it going okay? And this is coming from one of your staunchest supporters in this venture, as it has success written all over it. Go,GN,go.

I hear you and would never take your words of wisdom harshly; unfortunately, I can’t promise that there will be no additional interruptions, but I will keep up my pamphleteering to the best of my ability and having wonderful people like you pay me visits is truly terrific. Thanks, trini!

    Hi GN,
I just saw this. Congrats!! I also got your email. My access to internet out here is erratic. For some reason WSY pages are hard to open with the low signal that my broadband has.

Good luck with this wonderful baby you’ve got running here.

    • gn June 2, 2011 at 5:03 pm #

      Hi zizi!

I hope that you have wonderful, safe travels and thanks for stopping by!

And apologies to everyone who has had to put up with a comment sitting in moderation until I could approve it. I’ve turned off that automatic moderation setting as it is not necessary on this blog, and I hope that this will improve people’s ability to share their thoughts without having to wait hours to see them posted.

GN, I finally got through to your wonderful blog. I have an old computer that sometimes acts up. And, for some reason, I’ve been unable to reply to your posts. I really love the format of your blog, especially your highlights, and in-depth coverage of key issues of the week. I am really a big fan of yours. From now on I plan to visit regularly. I will also encourage friends and family to check out your user friendly blog. I know they will benefit from it.

      All the best!

      • gn June 7, 2011 at 8:55 pm #

Wow, Nathan, thank you so much. This is a really challenging summer for me, as I’m starting a great new job and am spending some of this summer overseas. To the best of my ability, I will keep up with my little pamphlet. I adore you, so thanks for the encouragement.
